The ISVR, a global pioneering center in audio and sound engineering, calls on distinguished researchers to help the next generation of 3D sound capture techniques.

By working with Professor Philipo Fazi and Professor Philippe Nelson, in cooperation with Huawei, it will contribute to advanced projects that drive spatial sound limits, microphone’s arrival design, and mobile technology. It will be part of a vibrant, multidisciplinary research environment, attracting experience from all over Southampton University, and helping to form revolutionary listening experiences that will affect industries all over the world.

About the role

You will lead a major project on spatial sound capture, explore the processing of the innovative microphone group and actual time programming. Your work will not only enhance science, but also affects realistic applications-from consumer electronics to overwhelming environments.

About you

You will have a doctorate (or equivalent) in audio, signal processing, sound engineering or related discipline. We especially appreciate experience in:

  • Treating the microphone beef
  • Spatial sound / 3D / ears
  • Multi -channel sound systems
  • Sound programming in real time

About ISVR and Southampton University
