Director of the trial at the University of Edinburgh

Part -time: 14 hours a week

Fixed range: 3 years

Opportunity:

Join us as an experimental director to lead the daily delivery of Predi-Lynch (oslucncercluster.no/news/predlynch), With the primary focus on gynecological experience. You will work closely with Dr. Neil Ryan and supported by an experienced team with a strong record in delivering multiple centers. You will be essential to startup, site activation, employment, data quality, and stakeholders coordination, and may also support other experiences in a gynecological cancer portfolio. The role includes opportunities to support doctoral students and beginners team members. You will be an important member of the program and will be supported by training, guidance and clear ways of job progress.

This post is part -time (14 hours a week); However, we are open to looking at part -time work patterns. We are also open to considering hybrid work requests (on a non -contracting basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular work on campus.

Your skills and characteristics for success:

  • An experiment installed in managing multi -centered clinical trials (perfectly for tumors/gynecology) from startup to close, including site activation and employment.
  • A degree of relevant discipline; Graduate Studies/Diploma in Clinical Research/Project Management (or equivalent experience).
  • Knowing a strong process of Ich-GCP, HRA/ReC/MHRA, EDC and data quality systems; Evidence of continuous CPD.
  • Communications Management and Communications Management Skills (Planning, Risk Management, Coordination of Stakeholders), with excellent communication and guidance (including PhD/clinical trainees).
  • Financial literacy with the experience of research financing systems (budget, prediction and invoices) and management training evidence.
