In recent years, in terms of higher education, students supported a rapid development. As a result, there was a noticeable increase in institutional responsibilities and students’ expectations.

Student support services at the University of Aberdeen seek to employ a new official to support trainees students to ensure students support a set of individual requirements, and that our services are developing to meet the increasing needs and expectations of students. This will be closely included with individual students and colleagues through support services, the broader university and our external support partners.

The student support official will have a pivotal role in providing advice and support for students and applicants in a wide range of matters, including personality, health, residency and financial concerns, ensuring the creation of a positive and welcome image. This will include a response to students’ inquiries, refer to colleagues and appropriate services, and management of the supervisor to support the provision of our services.

Student Support Administration team is closely working with student support consultants to develop and improve support, and manage cases files and service data effectively. The student support official will be responsible for supporting a group of administrative operations within the student’s advice and support, including those related to the support of disabled students; Funding hardship and student discipline. This role will focus on financial operations, including bills, raising purchase orders, and ensuring a timely time income renewal of disabled students.

The salary will be on the 20th point of the fourth -class salary scale, 29179 pounds annually, for the first year. During the second year of the training salary, it will be on point 22 of the scale, 30,805 pounds annually.

It is usually expected that the graduate trainees will take up a period of training while working before it is considered to be appointed or re -equipped with the position of job class within the university, and is usually on the locally specified grade scale (Spinal Point 24).
