Description of the position of the priest
Reports to: the elderly and deacons
Power status: full -time
The purpose: The role of the priest in the body of Christ is to lead the congregation through the ministries of preaching, teaching and service. Using pastoral care and administrative leadership skills.
Knowledge and skills:
A comprehensive knowledge of the Bible
The ability to show patience, perseverance and financial responsibility
The ability to communicate effectively by mouth and writing
The ability to show sympathy for others’ concerns
The ability to link and serve for adults and youth through various technologies
The ability to provide leadership to the church family
The ability to lead and manage the daily operations of the church
Work schedule:
The priest’s position requires flexibility in hours available to work, including evenings, weekends and holidays
The priest should be available for preaching and teaching in weekly and scheduled services. Maintaining normal working hours that are sufficient to meet the needs of the group and potential members.
Responsibilities:
Providing the spiritual, pastoral, communication, servant, and administrative leadership of the group
Interpretation of the Bible to the group
Motivating adults and youth through example, teaching and preaching
Enhancing unity within the church and managing conflict when necessary
Providing advice to the group and prospects
Prepare weekly speeches based on the Bible, preaching and worship services
Teaching the Bible Study on Sunday
Participated in a Wednesday night fellowship/youth
Perform the necessary written duties
Special occasions official (wedding parties, baptism, funerals, etc.), attending the youth camp
Participate in evangelization through preaching in living with the help of, and submit invitations in worship services, special events, visit and communication
It represents a group on the ministerial alliance and community services
Be a participant in society, represent the church in local events and school
Attending and submitting a written and oral report monthly at the meeting of the sheikhs/deacons
Working with different committees within the church when necessary
You may be responsible for other duties as needed
compensation:
Salary: It is appropriate for experience and potential increases available
Vacation: Two weeks include on Sundays
