We are contracting with the post -disciplines through disciplines Veenvitaal project (https://veenvitaal.info/). The project aims to contribute to its activation
The lands of peat in the Netherlands, and it will contribute to this through: (1) design social-economic-ecological scenarios, where the farmers of the wrong lands and other land managers move to farm practices and demanding nature, and (2) building a model based on factors to explore the consequences of these scenarios in terms of behavior, land management, and environmental quality services. For this, you will benefit from a wide range of resources already available, for example the visions obtained from different Veenvitaal Work packages, knowledge and experiences from a wide range of societal actors represented in our union, and the work of a doctorate who will conduct an experience of choosing on farmers and incentives for alternative ways to manage their lands. Dr. Mark Koetsi (VU-VM) and Dr. Natalie Davis (VU-Revm) will supervise you.
