Industrial PhD from EPSRC in the creation and processing of new biological materials, in partnership with Haleon
Applications are invited to a doctorate, at the beginning of 2025 / early 2026, which was hosted at the University of Nottingham in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering and Pharmacy School. The project will focus on the synthesis of polymers that resist the formation of vital membranes and develop operations to formulate/treat them in new health/consumer products, for example, skin/skin health products. The project will focus on expanding the patented polymers techniques, which offer its performance to combat authentication without using the authorities that are killed. Thus, they will not contribute to increasing antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The project will have a major focus on chemistry exploitation and its development to obtain materials on a gram scale. Because it will allow the transfer of these new vital materials to processing the formula to create health/care products for the new demonstrators.
The project will be carried out in close cooperation with an industrial partner, Halion, a world leading company for consumers. This project is part of the strategy to better provide daily health for humanity. As such, it will provide a set of experiments in the synthesis of polymer particles, and the development of roads towards widespread treatment and industrial cooperation in developing fixtures with Haleon to translate work into care products. There will be a possibility to put the search for up to a month in the partner institution laboratories.
