About the role

We are looking for a clinical trial assistant to join our team in the ORTU respiratory unit. The clinical trial assistant will support the experiment management team in the establishment and management of employment sites and provide administrative support for cooperation in the field of clinical research. This is a major role in Ortu, which ensures smooth and effective operation, and providing daily professional support for studies and collaborators with them.

It will be the first contact of all sites, their support and officials for preparation, green supervision and continuous supervision of employment sites for the various studies currently managed by Ortu.

About you

Applicants must have a good level of education and numerical skills (standard or equivalent level) or have a combination of relevant training and experience.

You will also need to prove that you have:

  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Excellent attention to details
  • The ability to work as a member of a team but also works independently.
  • Previous experience to work in a similar role in a clinical and/or academic environment.

Understanding good clinical practice, regulations and guidelines that apply to clinical trials in the UK will have a desirable feature of this post.

About the respiratory experiment unit in Oxford

Ortu’s respiratory unit (Ortu) is a clinical trial unit specializing in the design, delivery and management of experiments via respiratory medicine.

We manage national and international experiences related to our academic areas, as well as support for other teams. Our scope of work includes clinical trials at all stages, including translation studies, second -stage discovery studies and multiple -centers.
