Experimental assistant 3231025 cm – Employment at Southampton University

An exciting opportunity to join the STUTO clinical experiment unit (SCTU), within the University of Southampton, as an experimental assistant.

SCTU’s clinical trial unit is UKCRC and was created in 2006 to design and conduct clinical trials that are led by academically. The unit employs experimental managers, data managers, statistics, organizational staff and administrative support staff. We manage a growing group of multi -concentrated clinical trials that will directly affect routine clinical practice. The unit is funded by the CNCER Research UK, and supports funding from the NHS National Health Research Institute, based in Southerpton University Hospitals.

Role

We have an exciting opportunity to work in CTU. You will work with other colleagues in a team that supports our experimental management team and will bear responsibility for providing high -quality administrative support through a set of activities.

About you

You will be a team player with an eye that is keen on the details and a flexible situation. You will have excellent skills and skills between the character with an obligation to provide excellent customer service. The previous work experience is required in the role of administrative or secretarial support within the research environment.

Conditions for appointment

The Employment Organization is the University of Southampton, which offers competitive salaries, pension system and other advantages. The post is presented in a fixed -term contract for a period of 18 months in the first place with the possibility of extension. This is a full -time post, but part -time can be considered.

CTU is part of a strong research environment in Southampton, which includes the UK Cancer Clinical Center, the Experimental Cancer Center, a clinical research facility, and a strong research and development management.
