Reports to: Leads and logistics services

Contract type: part time

salary: 5,250 pounds, PRO RATA annually (26,250 pounds)

Cambridge Science Center

For more than ten years, the Cambridge Science Center has been curious and love (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) among young people throughout East England. We mainly focus on ages 4 to 14, because the evidence is clear: building confidence and attention in STEM early can open all kinds of opportunities later in life.

Our programs are designed to be happy and surprising and real opening-experiences that help young people see themselves and the world in new ways. Through practical exploration and open learning, we aim to complete official education and help each child find more than STEM.

We develop and provide a wide range of content content in STEM for young people from early years to the age of 16 – and we are working closely with parents, careers and teachers who play such an important role in their lives.

Every year, about 30,000 young people participate in our activities – whether in schools, societies or in our centers – and our goal is always the same: to help them imagine and formulate a brighter future. With the latest opening of our new permanent place in Cambridge, as well as continuous support through our semi -permanent emerging center in Wisbech, we can now build deeper and more sustainable relationships with societies that benefit more than we offer.

The Cambridge Science Center is an independent educational charity (registered charity No. 1146349). You can learn more in www.cambridgescienceCentre.org.
