About the role

This position after the doctorate is part of the Wellcome Mental Health Project: “Test my account model for the role of cortical circles in hearing hallucinations in people with psychosis.” The project will investigate how the characteristics of the cortical circles will cause hallucinations and associated phenomena. This is partially dependent on the latest discovery of Professor Adams et al, 2022, BIOL Psych) that the hearing hallucinations in people with schizophrenia diagnosis have been associated with the cleansing of the auditory cortex. This mission includes the vital physical modeling of the Mouse LFP and humans (including schizophrenia) EEG data from the auditory shell, and 2) hallucinations simulating using superior nerve network model.

About you

The candidate needs a relevant doctorate degree, experience with nervous networks/mathematical modeling and programming, and an excellent search record. Attention in mental health sciences is the best.
