Academic Officer (Graduate Medicine) at Oxford University
location: John Radcliffe Hospital, Medical Science Teaching Center, South Parks Road, Oxford
We are looking for a very effective and able official to become a member of the Academic Administration Team at the College of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. This post provides an excellent opportunity to develop a profession in university management.
The academic official (Graduate Medicine) will help the first academic official (Graduate Medicine) with the Department of Years 1 and 2 of the graduate medicine program. This will include the organization of teaching for students of higher medicine to enter, collect the course schedules of the course, set arrangements for students who are intuitive, allocate students to clinical places, review and update the training course information, organize clinical exams (OSCes) and computer -based exams. The postal holder will also help manage employment events and the students’ recognition of the course. There will be some areas of work that will have a mail owner.
The Graduate Studies Program for Entering a competition for graduates in applied or experimental sciences, with 35-40 students in each course. Teaching and examination are provided by a large number of academic and/or clinical employees, derived from clinical and non -clinical departments in the Department of Medical Sciences.
Students also attend clinical places in NHS partner boxes, and in primary care settings. Due to the participation of the responsibility of teaching and examination through multiple university departments, as well as NHS partner organizations, the organization’s organization is complicated.
The successful candidate for this position will have the ability to work systematically and to a high level of accuracy, with excellent attention to detail. They will have strong administrative and organizational skills, and they will have the ability to manage a wide work burden in an effective way. They will need to be ready and able to work harmoniously as a team member within the culture of academic leadership, as well as work independently and take the initiative to find solutions to problems, or progress in major tasks. They will have an excellent standard of literacy on computer, and they will have the ability to deal with numerical data with confidence and accuracy.

This is a part -time permanent publication. The postal holder is expected to be in the medical office (clinical) at John Radcliffe Hospital and will spend one day a week at the University Studies Office at the Teaching Center in Medical Sciences in the Science Region.
