The successful candidate will conduct research on absorbing huge data to prevent disaster against heavy rains and urban floods. This work will be implemented in close cooperation with the data absorption research team at the RIKEN Center for Computer Science (R-CCS), which was employed with our laboratory and closely related (with a potential simultaneous affiliation according to necessity), as well as with other Rikeen centers and partner institutions both in Japanese proximity and reality.
An active participation in the operation and management of the laboratory will also be expected.

1. Research absorbing huge data prevention against heavy rains and urban floods. The aim is to achieve rapid prediction of rain and floods through rainfall now based on radar notes and satellites, applying deep learning methods, and developing a practical column prediction system using the original and very worldly sponing “absorption of” huge data “. 3. Search to explore broad applications to accommodate data. This includes the investigation of the ability to apply and the effectiveness of data absorption across various fields and new fields of application.
4. Searching for general predictive methodologies and theories outside the absorption of data. This includes the development of prediction methods and theories applied to a wide range of scientific fields.
