About the role and the team
We are looking for a legal to join the Disney Publishing Rights Management Group. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for registering copyright, registering and managing the original global content. This role is under the supervision and guidance of the director and will provide an opportunity to work with the sectors that produce content for Disney+, Hulu, Star, Walt Disney Pictures & Animation, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar, 20th Studios & Television Records, Hollywood Records and Disney Recorticals and others.

This role is a position within the office in Borbank, California.

What will you do?
• Copyright records and records with the Copyright Office in the United States.
• Review production agreements, time schedules, databases and other reference materials to confirm the title chain and information required for copyright rights.
• Securing and reviewing the material and digital content for copyright registration purposes.
• Communication directly with the creative and legal sectors and works participating in the development and production of content.
• Conducting research, preparing reports, investigating, and solving registration inquiries.
• Fill and manage copyright, photos and information in the rules of copyright management databases.

Qualifications and skills required
• At least two years in a semi -legal role or 3 years of the experience of registering copyright.
• Attached to detail, with oral and analytical skills, and listening is excellent.
• The ability to manage the work burden independently, while distinguishing the date of assistance when necessary.
• The ability to hold self -accountability and others responsible for results.
• Experience in reviewing agreements and confirming the ownership chain.

The recruitment range for this position in the Los Angeles region ranges from $ 72,000 to $ 96500 annually on a 40 -hour work week. The amount of the hours scheduled for the week may vary based on work needs. The basic salary that is actually served will take into account the internal shares and may also differ depending on the geographical area of ​​the candidate, knowledge, skills and functional experience among other factors.
