Post -doctorate placement in biological materials and tissue engineering The University of Notrendam
Hanjaya-Putra Lab @ Notre Dame Stem cells and molecular treatments form
A laboratory for forming stem cells and molecular treatments at the University of Notrendam has immediate openings of the research fellowship after the doctorate. This opening is dedicated to a newly funded project as part of the general concentration of the laboratory to translate the therapeutic capabilities of the stem cells of renewal medicine and the modeling of diseases. Fellowship colleagues are expected to participate after a doctorate in multidisciplinary research projects, a motivation to translate technology into the clinic, and to cooperate closely with the Harper Cancer Research Institute, the Indiana School of Medicine (ISM), the Warren Family Center for Discovery and Development of Drugs, NDNANO, and the middle of the medical microfolide.
Qualifications:
The candidate should be a doctorate in biological/chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, material science, biology, or close associated field.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: Manufacturing and describing vital materials (i.e. polymer and synthesis chemistry). – Micro -manufacturing (i.e., microfloidic, accurate communication printing, 3D printing) – Experience with cell culture and animal model is preferred, but is not required.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing), as well as the ability to work independently and effectively as part of the research team.
