Q: I attended the job shows in the area and felt completely lost. This might seem like a strange question, but what should you do exactly in jobs?

A: When I bring job showrooms, I do the following:

1. Search for companies before the job gallery. Most of the shepherds will announce to the public to inform the upcoming companies. Use your skills in Internet sources to search the history of the company/culture, current publications, upward movement and compensation programs.

2. Develop the market – Make Plan A, B and C. Each company may attend the job gallery of your primary skills sets. So search for those companies of 10 to 15 years, which may be completely identical to what you are looking for (make those speech your companies). The remaining companies should be classified as your plan B, C, etc. I advise you to go to each table to learn directly about specific job opportunities. Do not assume that you know … Go discover.

3. Make a custom coverage message, Along with your CV, your plan for companies and move to those companies first. This is something I have done in the past and helped me to distinguish from competition.

4. Meet the managers/Recruits, sell your skills and what you bring to the table.

5. Be ready to publish your CV In moments of notice. The recruiter should not be forced to “pull the teeth” to get your CV.

6. There is time to be shy … this is not (the bombing of your horn).

7. Companies interview. It is time to ask questions that may make you feel uncomfortable in the interview chair such as (salary, timelines, and how the actor like working there).

8. Take all the company’s literature And work cards for follow -up and work search activities in the future.
