MIEC International College of Engineering (MIEC) is a joint college established by the University of MIN and Fuzhou University (FZU) in Fujian Province, China. We are looking for a firm academic to join the transit education team to reach patriotism as the MIEC executive executive jointly with his FZU counterpart.

MIEC is an integral part of the Strategy to the University of Mainouth, and our goal is to build on the experience gained through the extensive participation in China to enhance the quality and diversity of the MU educational experience locally and internationally, with a strong focus on communicating an exceptional student experience through the student’s axis approach. MIEC currently offers four MU college programs in computer science and e -engineering (BSC in computer science and software engineering, BSC in Android and smart devices, bachelor’s degrees in multimedia, developing mobile devices and websites on the Internet, in e -engineering). With an annual consumption of 300 students annually since its launch in 2019, the college is now a maximum of about 1,200 students. We have recently launched the MIEC Collaboraage FD, with the first quantity in the 2025/26 academic year, and the executive deputy will be responsible for supervising this program.

Successful candidates will be asked to spend time at the University of Mainooth and also at Fazu University in Fuchu, China for several months every year. It is expected that the appointed person will provide leadership in continuing the success of the initiative by ensuring the quality of academic programs that are presented, managing and strengthening the administrative relationship with FZU, and developing research links between MU and FZU and the wider Fujian region. While the background in computer science or e -engineering majors is desirable, it is not necessary. We welcome requests from the appropriately qualified candidates from other specializations who have leadership, management and the required strategic skills. A successful applicant will have experience in academic leadership, international programs management or national education.

The role decreases under the Vice President’s portfolio (VPI), and the successful candidate will submit a report to Professor Patrick McCall.
