Role

This newly -made upper leading role provides an exceptional opportunity for the ambitious and imaginative individual to advance growth and influence on West Dean.

The assistant director of short courses and external participation will lead our leading program in the short session. Indeed, one of the largest companies in the UK, the program has more access and financial strength. Your challenge will be to update and diversify the offer, open new markets, and make sure to put it as a national leader in creative education.

Besides, it will provide strategic leadership through marketing, students ’employment, partnerships and brand development. It comes to the formation of how to see the Western dean and experience, raise our personal file at the national and international levels, and create conditions for sustainable growth. The role is supervised by short courses, marketing, students ’employment and external participation teams, and reports to the deputy director, and contributes regularly to the executive leadership team.

What are we looking for

• Record installed in achieving growth, innovation and financial results, ideally in education, culture or creative industries.
• Higher leadership experience in marketing, brand development or market growth.
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to control and achieve stretching goals.
• Distinguished communication and influence on partnership building skills.
• The ability to inspire various teams and align activity with organizational goals.

It is advisable to experience learning adults, short courses, the document of the Qatari program, or a similar program, as well as knowledge of arts or cultural or heritage sectors. Above all, you will be driven by the opportunity to form the next chapter of the West Dean story, enhance our financial sustainability while maintaining our mission and values.
