Power duties

The supervisor of the residing consultant in DJ is the supervisory level of work that provides supervision and guidance for young people residing in a facility run by the Ministry of Juvenile Services by monitoring, interacting and assisting them in daily life skills and advising them with appropriate alternative behaviors. Employees in this classification coordinate residential programming services. In this classification, employees are supervised by residing advisors at the lowest level.

The minimum qualifications

Education: Graduation from an accredited secondary school or possession of a high school equation certificate.

Experience: Two years of experience in providing supervision and guidance for young people in the juvenile facility or the juvenile service community program for young people at risk.

Notes:

1. The above educational requirements are determined by the Marlyland Reconstruction Committee in accordance with the article of reform services, Section 8-209, Maryland’s explanatory blog.

2. The candidates can successfully complete the completion of twelve hours of training associated with the supervision approved by DJS Human Resources for a period of six months of the required experience.

3. Candidates can replace education in criminal justice or social or behavioral sciences in an accredited college or university at a rate of 15 credit hours for every six months of the required experience for a period of up to one year of experience.

4- Candidates may replace military service experience in the American armed forces as an employee who is not delegated in social services assistance, assistants classifications, social services assistance, and specialized laws in the field of social science, psychology and welfare on an annual basis for the required experience.

Licensing, recordings and certificates

1. Candidates must be fully accredited by the Marlyland Reconstruction Committee before appointment as a resident consultant in DJ and they must maintain a certificate during work.

2. Employees can be set in this classification duties that require a car operation. The appointed employees will be asked for such duties to have a valid car operator license in Maryland.

3. The employees in this classification must be employees in the DJS youth centers who have completed a program of technical training approved by the Board of Directors and possess a certificate valid for the Board of Nursing (Morbon) as a drug technician.

Special requirements
