KDVR in Denver Colorado has an immediate opening of a product/participant product that writes text programs and edits video for news reports.
• Responsibilities:
• Write and/or rewrite VOS and VOSOTS text programs for broadcasting
• Editing the video using the non -linear editing program. Editorial and software equipment works to produce videos for other news and programming messages
• Reconstruction of the registered parts to the specified lengths and reassemble the parts in the sequences of providing stories with maximum effect.
• Other duties as appointed by the supervisor
• You have a practical knowledge of the daily news content. This includes reading competitive sites. Update stories with new information and monitor news sources to obtain updates and urgent news.
• Requirements/Skills:
• Prefer Bachelor’s degree
• Efficiency with desktop computers, newsroom programs and video editing programs – including Adobe Premiere. Specific knowledge of ENPS and Bit Central A Plus.
• Understand how to use file transfer protocol (FTP) to send and receive large video files
• Candidates must be a creative book focusing on correcting facts every time.
• The ability to fulfill the final dates, define the priorities of tasks and deal with multiple tasks simultaneously. Be able to work in a quick, fast -paced environment.
• The necessary organizational skills and communications.
• The ability to work is a flexible schedule, which can include late or early hours, weekends and holidays.
• compensation:
• Payment: $ 24-27/hour based on experience
