Role

We are looking for talented designers with editorial experience to help the authors revive their books to life. We welcome experienced professionals in any of the following services:

• Cover design

• Interior design

• Printing

• clarification

• Production management

As an independent designer on Reedsy, you will decide the projects that must be taken and identify your own prices. You will cooperate directly with the authors and expect to understand their vision, direct them with your knowledge of the directions of designing books and industry standards, and to provide work that meets a high professional tape.

You will choose the projects to be taken, set your own prices, and manage your availability for new work. Contracts and payments are automatically processed so that you can focus on your craft.

The Reedsy’s Fetted Flancers collection has worked on a group of widely famous books, such as The Hunger Games (Suzanne Collins), Origeins (Adam Grant) and the Dark Pullman series.

Selection requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of professional design in design (at home or independent).

• A strong portfolio with quality designs or illustrations printed or digital editorial work.

The work experience will be estimated at a famous publishing company or a positive post.
