Are you an experienced leader in leading strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence? as First manager, compliance programs Reports directly to the manager and evaluation, you will have a unique opportunity to form the strategies of departments and provide guidance to our dedicated team, including evaluation, auditing, credit, groups and supervisors.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to display your leadership experience by directing the activities of our evaluation department, ensuring the smooth implementation of the strategies of departments and business plans. Your role will be effective in developing a culture of excellence, managing stakeholders and building relationships. As an important member of our administration management team, you will actively participate in policy development and planning activities and decision -making activities, which contributes to general success and the growth of our organization.

Where will you do?

In Worksafebc, we offer a hybrid business model that combines the comfort of remote work with the dynamics of work in one of our offices based on the operational needs of the situation.

In this role, you will work primarily from our office in Richmond, with some flexibility at work from your home in BC

What will you do?

  • Providing a comprehensive management of the audit, compliance and groups department to ensure fair and fair compliance with the workers’ compensation system.
  • Developing departments strategies, participating in business planning, determining policy, and decision -making regarding management issues. Ensuring effective implementation of strategies in the audit, compliance, groups and evaluation department as a whole.
  • Providing leadership and guidance in formulating operational plans, setting goals, and implementing business plan initiatives. Promote teamwork and cooperation in achieving work goals and priorities.
  • Cooperation with managers in other departments to provide comprehensive assessments and strategic strategies, financing department.

  • Managing and directing the appointed employees, which indicates efficiency in employment, guidance, evaluation and discipline of employees, while strengthening a supportive and healthy work environment.
  • Financial resources management within the designated budgets, which indicates financial planning, monitoring and skills corrective procedures as required for the designated area.
  • Mobility in new changes and initiatives in the workplace, support employees, ensuring effective communication, and identifying employee contributions and achievements during transformations.
  • Traveling inside the area according to work requirements.
  • Show an attached ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve strategic goals.
  • Show strong technical knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

Your background and your experience

  • The appointment of a legal professional accountant (CPA) is a required accreditation data for this role.
  • At least eight years of direct relevant experience in employee management in financing or financing jobs.
  • The solid groups, audit or compliance background will be one of the assets.

An equivalent mix of education and experience will be considered.
