The main performance area

The role includes providing attractive lectures in writing radio news, preparing reports and production, producing live and long -form radio programs, professional podcasts, radio and television documentary films, television production for live study, the difference in radio and television after production, outside individual television and camera productions, writing text programs for tests and design and preparing them for design. The individual will be responsible for teaching production operations on radio and professional television, using post -production post -production programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro and Avid. They are expected to facilitate the production of field and studio in both radio and television programs. Additional responsibilities include ensuring all the resources required for practical news work by advising the Ministry about what is required. The job operator is also expected to oversee media production research projects in university levels and graduate studies.

Job requirements

Master’s degree (NQF 9) in broadcasting press, journalism, radio production, film and television production or master’s degree in a related area with at least four (4) years of lectures,/or industrial experience and/or a combined mix of related professional experience. Excellent English communication skills (orally and writing). Efficiency for teaching at least three (3) of the following courses: broadcasting press, audio and visual media, radio production, television production, documentary production, writing script, post -production and graphic design. Efficiency in operating vocational broadcasting equipment, professional electronic production cameras, studios and field production cameras, including DSLR cameras, preparation and operation of full radio production studio and podcast studio. Efficiency in creating professional networks and maintaining links with industry, as well as experience in developing university programs. Efficiency in online education, learning and evaluation will be a recommendation. The reliable record of lectures, publications reviewed by peers, community participation, and supervision of students (research), in addition to the relevant doctorate, will be a feature.
