We have an exciting opportunity for the talented and motivated individual to join the technical services team that supports research laboratories of the Department of Chemistry and Infrastructure associated with the University of Warwick.

Providing reports to the Deputy Director of Technical Services (Research), will join a team of great support technicians who provide high -quality technical support to employees, students and visitors. You will contribute to the smooth running of the administration, and work with flexibility with employees all over the department and the broader technical services team to achieve a large level of support for employees and students.

This is a great opportunity for the individual who wants to expand his skills and develop them in an academic environment, while identifying a strategic growing department at Warwick University.

About you
Success in this role will require excellent customer service and personal skills, Can-Do’s position with the desire to work cooperatively as part of a high-performance team and the ability to work independently in a crowded environment.

The previous experiment in manual dealing and dealing with chemical waste will be an advantage, also indicating that some of the duties are based on the open air (suitable outerwear and PPE) are provided.

It will be desirable if you have a basic work knowledge of the COSHH systems and the previous experience in the inputs in the databases and maintain manual/electronic records.
