The demolition work will start on Tuesday on the remains of Jet Star, the rotating ship that fell on a berth of entertainment in the coastal highlands during the storm, October 29.
Maria Mastores, a spokeswoman for Casino Pierre, said it should take about four days to remove the trip.
“We are happy with this,” she said. “We have been waiting for this for a long time. It shows that we are making progress and that we will be open and ready for the summer.”
Hundreds of times the ship in the water appeared in the media and used to help sell souvenirs to raise money to the storm victims. The ship appeared on the famous cars magnet, which is sold by one of the numerous charities that collect money.
It also continues to draw large crowds to the coastal heights corridor, which is still under reconstruction.
Casino Pier Weeks Marine, an experienced naval contractor, has rented the work.
“They are planning to dismantle a piece of piece and take it away,” said Mastores.
Work sets will work around the clock until the last ship is removed.
In January, a man who lived near the ship climbed and separated an American flag over him before climbing and arrested the police. His municipal case has not yet been tried.
The project will start a few hours after the British Prince Harry leaving from the seashore heights. He visits the Ucean province community on Tuesday as part of the American tour.
