Akerman seeks to obtain a very organized and directed information technology project directed towards details to oversee technology initiatives within our law firm. The role will be responsible for planning, implementing and presenting information technology projects that enhance operational efficiency, safety and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in managing IT project in a law firm.

Main responsibilities:

• Planning, scheduling and implementing information technology projects, including software decline, infrastructure promotions, cybersecurity initiatives, and system integration.
• It is the main contact between information technology teams, lawyers, administrative employees and external sellers to ensure clear and alignment of the project’s goals.
• Working with information security to ensure the compliance of all information technology solutions to legal industry standards, data protection regulations, and fixed security policies.
• Monitor project budgets and sellers contracts and allocate resources to ensure timely and costly connection.
• Defining opportunities to improve workflow, document management systems and technologies facing the customer to support law productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Supporting training, adoption, and communications at the company level for new information technology systems or operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, business or related field (PMP or a similar certificate required).
• 5+ years of the experience of managing the IT project, with a busy record in managing multiple coincidences. Experience in the law firm is very favorite.
• Knowledge of legal technology platforms (for example, document management systems, time and bills, legal operations), Microsoft Office, etc.
• Strong driving, communication and problem solving; The ability to bridge the gap between the stakeholders and non -technicians.
• Excellent time management skills and prosperity in a fast -paced environment that depends on the deadline.
