background
To help research (by implementing data or analyzes) to create knowledge by providing research support for projects and research groups. In particular, you will be part of the essential medicine experience of psychiatry (PIMS). The aim of this study is to test whether cytokine supporting inflammation, Intercin 6 (IL-6), contributes to causing psychosis, and studying possible mechanisms through which IL-6 affects psychotic symptoms, mood, perception, and behavior. This is a multi -site study of concepts that use a parallel random group (1: 1), double -blind, fake in Birmingham, Bristol and Cambridge. Nearly 60 participants suffering from psychosis who have evidence of low quality inflammation (i.e., IL-6 ≥0.7pg/ML) and symptoms associated with inflammation (i.e., Anhedonia and Amotivation) to Monoosian Monussian and Inbody InBody Inbody-Inibitists Insibit in the United Kingdom to treat arthritis Rheumatoi). The initial result will be Anhedonia (i.e. reducing the ability to experience or shrink motivation to engage in an interesting activity). Data will be collected on the initial result, other psychological samples, blood samples in the first place, 7, 14 and 28 days after fusion. Cognitive data and nervous imaging will be collected primarily and 14 days after fusion in Birmingham and Cambridge. In addition, we will recruit approximately 30 patients with psychosis who have no evidence of inflammation and 30 people who have no history of mental illness.
Main duties
- Collecting search data from patients with severe mental illness
- Chair meetings with university partners and external stakeholders associated

Person specifications
- A degree or equivalent in psychology or neuroscience, preferably at the master’s level
- Important practical experience in employment studies, including work with the clinical population
- Practical experience for multiple biomedics studies
- The ability to analyze information and communicate effectively
- The ability to access and organize resources successfully
- Knowing the protected characteristics of the 2010 Equality Law, and how to ensure an activity in the daily activity in the private region of those who have equal and fairly protected characteristics
- DBS requirements, occupational health and awareness of data protection law (DPA)
