We are looking for two talented behavioral scientists to join one of our basic task teams:

  • AFS more start
  • Sustainable Future (ASF)

As a behavioral world:

  • Providing a behavioral science perspective, as part of a multidisciplinary team, in a variety of projects in your mission or your policy field. You will work alongside designers, data scientists and other qualitative and quantitative experts;
  • Developing and proposing practical policy solutions or intervention ideas to address social issues, informative of behavioral sciences;
  • Providing projects, including assistance in preparing and tracking project plans, implementing daily work in a variety of projects and modernizing team members to progress;
  • Conducting mixed research and analysis methods, including qualitative and good research, interpretation of research results, analysis and summary of relevant evidence and implement analysis. You can use any of the following technologies in the preparation of the office or field: interviews, notes, literature reviews, and deep data using statistical techniques;
  • Support for new business development, including domain offers, research and writing proposals and proposals;

  • Understanding behavioral sciences. You can explain the consequences of theoretical concepts such as the failure to pay, alienation and social standards. The relevant degree is welcome (behavioral economics, social psychology, or relevant areas).
  • Practical experience in providing projects using behavioral science methods. I have applied theoretical understanding to practical challenges in the past, and operating projects from start to finish.
  • General policy design. You are enthusiastic about the general policy and programs that aim to improve the lives of people on a large scale. You can see both sides of the argument, and you can think about what makes some policies effective and others are impractical.
  • They are confident of causation and statistical thinking. You know that just to increase the sales of sunglasses and ice cream at the same time, one does not cause each.   • Awareness and broader research competencies, including data science methods and/or qualitative research methods to deeply understand research contexts.
  • It is also recommended to be aware and experience in human design approaches stationed in developing solutions to complex problems.
  • The study or work experience in a policy -related area, which includes this recruitment round to reduce home carbon emissions.
  • Experience and present a work program with partners and/or customers who have born a social impact.
  • Strong project management skills and expertise.

What we offer

salary: 37,400 pounds – 51,400 pounds (is expected to offer offers towards the bottom of the range) in addition to a set of benefits, including private medical insurance, teeth insurance, the ability to buy and sell annual leave, Eyecare and others.

location: This role is located in BlackFriars, London, arranging a hybrid work with at least two days in the office
