Cellular Center Technician in Kings College London
We have an exciting vacancy at Wohl Cellular Imaging (WCIC) at King’s College London.
WCIC is a facility for an advanced light microscope, which provides the latest microscopic examination of light and photography to the research community, and the center works as an educational platform for researchers and students alike.
Our mission is to enhance innovation through a wide range of biological research fields, in addition to developing new microscope settings and imaging techniques in response to the comments of the center’s users.
About the role
The purpose of the role is to support the center’s operations and maintenance. This will include providing training and support for the new and current users of the facility. The role holder will support the maintenance of equipment and explore and fix errors.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a crowded multi -user photography facility and support for advanced research. This role would suit an organized and directed individual individual who can manage its work burden and effectively solve problems. Excellent communication skills and strong personal skills are necessary.
We want to implement the new AI tools for a microscopic fragmentation and we expect that the new recruiter will be able to be able or show experience in implementing and installing the tools in software environments such as Nabari and Bathon as well as commercial software packages.

This post will be presented on a full -time contract for a period of two years.
About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to get the following skills and experience:
Basic standards
- Master’s degree in life sciences, physical sciences, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced microscope/photography in the research environment, including a focal photography.
- Strong communication skills and experience in providing information and communicating with groups.
- Excellent between people, influential skills and relationship management.
- Excellent planning skills and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Knowing CosH and implementing health and safety standards and protocols in a research environment.
- A good technical understanding of photography equipment and the ability to apply technologies/skills learned in the context of the work, including a broad understanding of the effective curricula to train microscopic users in photography and technologies.
- Detailed and center approach, the ability to accurately register and manage data, according to the requirements of GDP and legislation requirements.
Desired criteria
- Experience of providing training and workshops.
- Experience in analyzing images and processing.
- Experience in installing new AI software and tools for division
