By creating an organized pipeline from training to certificates and directing students directly with recruits, Iit Madras hopes that the initiative improves access to employment opportunities while providing companies by developing an effective way to determine talent.

The recently unveiled initiative seeks to provide engineering and diploma students with organized training, followed by a unified evaluation of their skills.
“With several thousand students who aspire to take internal training and then places in various organizations, the NIPTA initiative is very timely,” said V. Kamakoti, IIT Madras,

The program will provide students for free to preparatory resources such as video lectures and sample questions, followed by training from 10 to 12 weeks in technical materials, sports efficiency, logical thinking and communication skills.

Students will then take a three -hour test that will be performed in the centers throughout India. The evaluation is open to the third and the other two and the other Engineering studentsNew graduates, diploma students in the final year, and diploma holders. Participants will receive a performance based on IIT Madras, which provides students and employees with a transparent index of competencies. The results will also be shared with companies, and the institute plans to host a national training job, either virtual or personal, in early 2026.
