ADS is a global pioneering digital warehouse that provides digital data archiving services for antiquities and heritage in the United Kingdom. We are our headquarters at York University, but we are working closely with external partners, whether in higher education or in the general and commercial sectors. We are a firm component of the Ukrai digital research infrastructure and also occupying international cooperation, as a leading member of the European Research Infrastructure. As a result of a prize of 15.3 million pounds from AHRC to a consortium, led by ads to develop and host a digital research service for the wealth program (Research Infrastructure for Conservation and Heritage Sciences), we now provide a federation to develop and host the Heritage Science Data Data service (HSDS).

role

The HSDs Development Director is responsible for developing HSDs data groups through a full set of Heritage and Conservative Science Research (HSCR), managing the relationship with wealth projects and facilities, and users of those facilities, as well as developing new relationships with the stakeholders in additional HSCR. They will submit reports to the HSDS manager, but they are also working with the manager and head of group development to take responsibility for developing groups in certain areas, as well as assuming a shared responsibility for the line management and allocating tasks for digital archives and their assistants.

The university seeks to be varied and comprehensive – the place where we all can be ourselves.

We especially encourage requests from people who know that they are black, Asian, or from a minority ethnic background, represented by an incomplete representation at the university.

We offer friendly and flexible work arrangements, with comprehensive forums and facilities to support our employees. #Equalityatyork
