Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to take a leading role in the Library and Learning Services at the University of Syria. We are looking for a person who is passionate about people, who are adept at building relationships, and we are proud to provide an exceptional experience for our students. We are open to flexible work considerations, and the team supports hybrid work, with the ability to work in the office and from home, in line with work needs.

The roles are part of the Supreme Command team for library services and learning services, as well as other participating managers and the director of library services and learning, which are presented by this post. While we expect the three managers participating closely to work closely, this role will have a special focus on setting the strategic direction of education in the context of the library, ensuring that the learning development team provides the highest support levels for students, and works cooperatively with various stakeholders in the Surrey community.

About you

You will have strong communication skills, great experience in managing library / information services in the context of higher education, and a clear understanding of the educational needs of higher education students. You may have some experience in managing the learning development team, but this is not necessary. Most importantly, we are looking for a wonderful person in building relationships and working to achieve our strategy at the wider university. You should also be able to show a clear commitment to diversity and inclusion.

What we can offer

In addition to salaries, it will receive an annual increase in additional wages, the generous annual merit for 25 days, in addition to 7 days. Excellent.
