Employment: Hand of vegetables and organic animals

We are looking for a dedicated and emotional person to join our team, Kid, vegetables and organic animals. This role will include auxiliary role in various tasks related to cultivation, maintenance and harvesting a variety of organic vegetables. The ideal candidate must have strong work ethics, love sustainable agricultural practices, and prepare to contribute to a dynamic agricultural environment.

Tasks and responsibilities:

1) Cultivation of vegetables and fruits

• Soil management: help in preparing soil, fertilization, fertilization activities, and adhere to the principles of organic agriculture to preserve the health of the soil and fertility.
• Copper transplantation: Participate in all stages of crop production, including cultivation, transplantation, weeds removal, and irrigation to ensure healthy growth of organic vegetables.
• Pest and diseases: monitoring crops to obtain pest and diseases signs and contribute to the implementation of integrated pest management strategies using organic methods.
• Harvesting: Help in harvesting different vegetables, ensuring appropriate handling and storage to maintain freshness and quality.
• Assist in the operations of the community -backed vegetable fund: support in preparing products for sales and distribution, including sorting, packing and placing marks according to quality standards.




• Keeping food: food processing to prolong the lifetime of validity and produce value -added products as needed.
• Sales: Create and operate the farm market and perhaps the farmer market position.

2) Animal care

• Cows feed and tampering
• Chicken feeding and collect eggs

3) Maintenance of the farm

• Contributing to the tasks of public maintenance of farms, such as equipment maintenance, maintaining irrigation systems, shedding in grass, removing ice, etc.

Qualifications:

• As part of this post, it may be through grant financing, the applicant must be less than 30 years.
• You have a valid social insurance number; and
• Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident in Canada, or the person who got a refugee position in Canada.
• Previous experience in agriculture or gardening, especially in the production of organic vegetables, is useful but not required.
• Passion of sustainable and organic agricultural practices.
• Physical endurance and the ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• The ability to work independently and cooperate within the team.
• Strong attention to details and a proactive approach to tasks.
• The driver’s license is one of the assets.

• Prepare to learn and adapt to new agricultural techniques and techniques.
• Flexibility with work hours, especially during the peak season.
• Commitment to maintain hygiene and organization in the fields of work.
