Researcher Assistant (754991) at the University
The Department of Psychological Sciences and Health is looking to employ a part -time assistant (grade 6) to conduct clinical research in epilepsy care. This position includes cooperative work between the Scottish Scottis Center (WQSEC) and the University of Struntklaide.
FTE: 0.4 (14 hours/week)

The College of Psychological Sciences and Health is looking to employ a part -time research assistant (grade 6) to conduct clinical research in epilepsy care. This position includes cooperative work between the Scottish Scottis Center (WQSEC) and the University of Struntklaide.
The researcher will join the research group at Strateclyde University, which focuses on improving care for people with long -term health conditions. The researcher will be based at Strateclyde University and in WQsec. WQSEC is an independent hospital of 12 foundations run by a charity and partnership with NHS Scotland. It provides a new model for evaluation and diagnostic therapy for those who suffer from epilepsy and relevant conditions (mainly non -spleen attacks) across. There is continuous video monitoring for all the areas of patients (except for bathrooms) and measuring wireless wireless dimension. There is a multidisciplinary team (nursing, neuroscience, clinical neurological physiology, nervous psychology and nervous psychology).
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary clinical research team led by Professor Graham and Dr. Maria Auto, Chancellor of the Clinical Neurological Psychiatrist, WQSEC. PostHolder will start a set of clinical research projects designed to improve care for people with epilepsy. There will be a rope of work that focuses on identifying newer treatments for separatist seizures. The role of helping to provide research activities as part of the project team, and work under the supervision of the research from senior colleagues. The successful candidate will also take administrative duties and help in the relevant knowledge exchange activities when necessary.
In order to consider this role, you must get a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or other relevant discipline. You will have experience in working in clinical environments and with the clinical population. You will have a good understanding of clinical research, such as completing ethics applications and data collection in clinical settings. You will be able to plan and set your work burden priorities and be able to work in the team’s environment. You will have excellent skills between people and communicate, with the ability to listen, persuade and persuade and provide complex information in a way that can be accessed to a group of fans. You will be able to communicate effectively, sympathy and professionalism in the situations in which people suffer from distress. You will be able to use the research effectively to improve the effectiveness of your work constantly. You will understand the importance of moral practice. For example, the importance of confidentiality, approval and frankness in research. To work at WQSEC, the applicant will be asked to obtain the improvement by detecting Scotland.
