Join us as an official at the center of the programmable biological issue!

It will join a large and ambitious laboratory, the center of the newly originated biological material (CPBM), led by Professor Jonathan Heidel.

In CPBM, we are interested in understanding, design and building natural and artificial Greek machines. Payyan machines are wonderful nano devices made of biological molecules, usually proteins, fats, RNA and DNA. In nature they carry out an amazing set of tasks, from our DNA copies to converting light into energy. Our exploratory work uses a mixture of biochemical, structural and accounting chemical techniques in addition to the most important component, imagination, to create machines that exceed the capabilities of nature,

Submit reports to the laboratory manager, will help the administrative team in all administrative matters, and help the broader scientific team focus on the basic research goals. This will include dealing with scheduling, responding to internal and external requests to obtain information, help in financial affairs and arrangement.

Department of Biological Science Partners with other areas of research force at Durham University, including mathematical sciences and chemistry and encourages multidisciplinary research for health and well -being. The University of Durham was included in The Times Times Top 50 Honorable Life Sciences Competition (July 2017).
