The London School of Hygiene and Equity Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world’s leading public health universities. Charitable work is crucial for us to achieve this task, and in this way, we are looking for an experienced and excited person to join us as a new officer in charitable work.

As a successful candidate, you will be a major member of the charitable work team that works closely with the head of charitable business, director of development relations and graduates, and members of your team to ensure the future success of our office for development and graduate relations (DARO).

The successful applicant will carry at least a second degree honoring degree (or enjoys equivalent experience) and will be experienced in building charitable relationships with a mixed group of charitable funds, companies and individuals. They will have a busy record in securing gifts at a level of five numbers, experience working in environments directed towards results, and showing a record to meet the main performance indicators and donation collection goals. Strong technical skills are necessary, including advanced use of relationship databases (such as Raiser’s Edge) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Proper knowledge of the principles of data protection and legal requirements and the practice of collecting moral donations is necessary, as is the case with the understanding of charitable organizations and networks in the United Kingdom and internationally. This post is 35 hours full -time per week, 1 FTE and durable.

The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, grade 5 in the range of 39,984 pounds – 45,728 pounds annually in support of fees (including weighting in London). The post will be subject to LSHTM terms and service provisions. The annual leave right is 30 working days per year, PRO RATA for part -time employees. In addition, there are appreciation “welfare days”. Pension scheme membership is available. The post is located in London.
