CAA’s chief legal official office provides legal support in the fields of litigation, corporate transactions, compliance, advice, advice, and government affairs. We support CAA needs when it comes to talent laws and employment laws, among other legal areas.

OCLO’s employment law plays an important role in managing the agency’s compliance with all applicable employment laws, providing advice and company lawyer, supporting the culture of the workplace as well as the efforts of diversity and integration. The new role will submit reports to the Supreme Legal Adviser, Employment (UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa) based in London, and also works closely with the Deputy General Adviser, litigation and employment and the broader employment law team in Los Angeles, as well as global human resources and human resources teams.

Role

This new role will provide daily advice and lawyer for international and international human resources teams and business leaders, formulating various documents related to employment, supporting other issues related to the employment introduction, including policies, research procedures, formulation, and formulating different types of employment documents. They will work with the senior recruitment lawyer and other members of the employment legal team to provide effective and high -quality service for internal and external stakeholders; Implementation of best practices for the employment law in a fast -growing and fast -paced company; Support the company’s work needs and its employees. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the UK Employment Law acquired in special practice (AT1) with experience in assisting in coordinating multidisciplinary projects or multi -shortcuts. European and Middle East and/or/or knowledge of the Asian Employment Law will also be useful.

Responsibilities
• Providing advice and lawyers in all matters related to employment, such as employee relationships, employee compensation, disciplinary issues, compliance with migration, employment agreements, policies in the workplace, organizational compliance (including pensions), hypocrisy and litigation at work.
• Performing job duties in line with safety, conditions and organizational requirements, as well as CAA culture and business goals.
• Maintaining a strong ethical compass and working within a specific ethical code that is in line with CAA values.
• Ensuring compliance with the applicable laws, regulations and policies.
• Define and evaluate legal risks and opportunities and provide advice accordingly.
• Independently, efficiently and quickly deal with legal issues and projects with the support of the senior employment lawyer.
• Consider when matters are raised to the senior recruitment lawyer.
• Work closely with those around CAA’s various working lines, including other members of the UK legal team, the legal team in the United States (including employment, litigation, immigration, compliance), tax team, and business affairs members.
• Working with an external lawyer on matters related to employment as required.
• Educating and providing training, business partners and stakeholders on legal issues, policies and legal procedures.
• Maintaining confidentiality.
• Performing other tasks and was appointed from time to time.

Qualifications/requirements
• Strong academic background: LLB (with honors), BA (with honors) or BSC (with honors) 2: 1 or higher and (if related) a diploma in graduates in law and above; LPC feature and above.
• A qualified lawyer (England and Wales).
At least 7 years of legal experience in the UK’s employment law. The work experience inside the house (including customer points) will be useful.
• Knowledge and experience with the broader European or Asian employment law will also be useful. Preparing to learn employment laws in new judicial states is a must.
• Knowledge and experience with labor related issues (such as employment tax, salary statements, benefits, pensions, migration, and global mobility issues) will be useful, but they are not necessary. Prepare to learn new skills in these areas (with support and guidance) is a must.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, skills of dealing with others and emotional intelligence.
• Strong driving for Microsoft Office Pavilion; In particular, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
