Description
The Directorate of Research, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange seeks to an experienced, flexible and flexible official to work with business development and marketing teams, either as the role of 50/50 division or two roles of 0.5FTE.
The business development team is responsible for identifying and following up on new job opportunities, building relationships with industry partners and leading revenue growth for the university. The team also supports academics throughout the university to interact with external partners through cooperative research, contract research, continuous professional development (CPD), consulting, facilities and knowledge transfer partners (KTP).
The marketing team is responsible for identifying, evaluating, developing and marketing intellectual property and other outputs from the university’s research, and this is usually through licensing agreements and the formation of rotation companies.
The (S) holder will provide a high level of administrative support for the team (the team) through a variety of tasks and administrative projects. The main aspects of the role are as follows and full training on systems and operations will be provided as required:
- To implement a set of administrative duties to facilitate the smooth operation of business development teams and marketing them.
- To support the development of marketing materials and modernize the team’s websites, ensure that the content is currently and related.
- To enter data into intellectual property databases, ensure maintenance of accuracy at a high level of marketing team.
- To enter data on the CRM (CRESFORCE) platform, management accuracy and data through the statute of the business development team.
- Support the financial transactions management related to team activities.
- To arrange meetings, including room reservation and catering, leaf trading and minutes/notes, as required.
