A full -time research and innovation center is available two years later in biotechnology/ biochemical engineering/ artificial biology. The role of enzyme derived enzymes will include the enzyme to form biological or synthetic biology for valuable vehicles commercially. This position is located in the laboratory of Dr. Benjamin Lesman, a future colleague in the future at the Center for New Agricultural Products. Lichman LAB takes a multidisciplinary approach to understanding and engineering engineer for the natural product.

This post is funded by the BBSRC follow -up that supports the translation of basic research into practical application, including marketing. Therefore, we are looking for researchers with entrepreneurship and commercial interests, with the desire to generate biological systems to produce valuable chemicals. This role will include work as part of a team that will include a research technician capable of supporting the vital technology of the project for the project, as well as a commercial partner with interest in distorting the process.

This role is available to start from January 2026, or as soon as possible after that.

The necessary skills, experience and qualifications

• You must have a PhD in biotechnology/biochemical engineering/artificial biology/biological stimulation or a similar topic.
• Experience with the production/purification/purification of protein and enzyme is essential, and experience with artificial biology, enzyme engineering, or the expansion of the reaction is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary.
• You must have a commitment to personal development, cooperative spirit, enthusiasm for research, innovation and marketing related to biological stimulation, natural products and artificial biology.
