Contract type: variable hours – session

The Leeds International Study Center and its programs are provided by the study group in cooperation with the University of Leeds and the University of Leeds Picky.
You will work with colleagues throughout the center to ensure the effective delivery of teaching programs in line with our education strategy, the broader scholarship and the distinguished student experience goals. It will also contribute directly to students supporting, developing and implementing innovative teaching practices throughout the center. As a teacher, it will contribute to the design, development and production of teaching, learning and evaluation materials, as well as providing a group of units or within the field of the topic.

About the role

• Providing the academic coordination of the unit (units) specified in the role of lead in the stereotype
• Participate in regular meetings with teaching and support staff who contribute to the effective comprehensive management of programs and a student life cycle.
• Contribute to design, development, delivery and modernization of the stereotypes offered by the center.
• Contribute to the delivery and evaluation of the ruling.
• Preparing unit reviews, mark (training and summary) and submitting notes to students in time
• Update and maintenance of the virtual learning environment (VLE),
• I work with the Center for Academic Services and Services at the Center in providing induction, guidance and registration programs.
• Communicate with the team of progress, luxury and support to support students in achieving the goal of their progress.
• Contribute to the activities of the students’ enrichment
• Evolution in scientific activity to ensure the connection of current stereotypes
• Implementing quality guarantee procedures at the level of the stereotype and contributing to the annual monitoring of the program and reviewing the program to achieve high standards
• Use the entire central systems to register and monitor the attendance of students
• Maintaining accurate and updated records for students’ participation
• Complete the shepherd reports and academic reports for students.
• Opportunities such as (for example) Development VLE; Poilis control activities.
• Carrying out education, learning and evaluation observations and staff development plans associated with them to ensure standards within the field of the subject.
• Any other duties as required from time to time by the head of LSS and the director of the center
• Health and safety promotion and the welfare of students and colleagues. Hold the personal accountability to avoid procedures that may threaten your health or safety, other employees, students or members of the public.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of relevant topic.
• Master’s qualification is desirable
• Candidates who hold a PhD in particular will be welcomed.
• The teaching experience in the United Kingdom is higher or more education
• The ability to develop and modernize teaching materials, preferably work experience in the virtual learning environment
• Efficiency in teaching and administrative technology skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, etc.)
• A student focuses on the student and focuses on the customer
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Strong skills in saving records
• Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure on the deadlines
• The enthusiasm and motivation to be a team player moved by performance.
• Innovation and creativity in developing and implementing students ’promotion activities.
