Protection Services Director is responsible for coordinating and managing preventive services and emergency management for the regional region of Kitimat-Stikine. Main duties and responsibilities:

Emergency Management

  • The RDKS emergency program is managed by ensuring the required training, developing comprehensive response plans, and cooperating with a variety of stakeholders to develop preparedness and planning initiatives in emergency situations to comply with the EDMA law.

Fire protection

  • Supervising effective management and firefighting departments operations in Thornegil and Dease to ensure the continuous RDKS policies and procedures.

Specific training and experience:
