The Director of Strategic Research Development will permanently conduct multidisciplinary experience, develop and support them to develop ambitious external financing applications, in cooperation with global partners.

This role will be a responsibility to support the development of high -quality financing applications from a group of financing sources.

What will you do?

In this role, You will lead to developing high -value research financing proposalsHelping to form influential global partnerships. It will work closely with academics across the empire to determine the main international financing opportunities, direct the development of strategic bids, and to manage complex submission from start to finish. You will be a reliable advisorBring insight, structure and creativity to research initiatives that are in line with institutional priorities. What are we looking for

• Experience in identifying and managing international research financing offers on a large scale, including multi -tape proposals more than one million pounds.
• Strong project management skills, and support for developing comprehensive suggestions through specializations and sectors.
• Maher in providing academic advice and partners on the strategy of suggestion, content and application processes.
• Confident communication with the ability to criticize and improve the technical and non -technical aspects of financing applications.
• The strategic thinker with experience in harmonizing the financing efforts of institutional goals and building research networks.
• Cooperative, cooperative, credible with strong capabilities of stakeholders and facilitation capabilities.

This role is located in the IMPERIAL World Development Center, which brings together the Imperial community to increase the global influence of our research, education and innovation in the world, and deals with the United Nations Sustainable 2030 agenda, and work with some of the most weak challenges and marginalization in societies in which multiple global challenges are concentrated significantly. The axis is located within the International Relations Office (IRO) – a highly crowded central and visible central unit responsible for supporting and delivering international participation of the university with academic partners and external governments.
