Doctorate’s subject description:

To achieve high accuracy and improve performance on traditional digital devices in terms of space and energy efficiency, RRAMs should be able to store multiple resistance cases reliably within 1T1R memory cells. The doctoral filter will focus on increasing the number of reliable resistance cases that can be achieved for each cell. The research will include multiple abstraction levels, including metal metal mineral structure (MIM), 1T1R design, and the development of advanced programming algorithms. All of these aspects should be improved jointly to ensure that resistance conditions are stable and strong against time drift, temperature changes, and electrical noise. The main component of this improvement will be the electrical description of the devices.

Human awareness is a fungal capacity, emerging from the brain’s ability to treat many sensory inputs. Simulating this function in electronic systems – which is uncommonly referred to as nervous computing – carries the ability to create very smart machines capable of supporting a wide range of daily applications, from independent compounds to smart navigation systems. However, achieving nervous computing in practice represents great challenges, especially in the areas of energy efficiency, reliability and security. MSCA React deals with these challenges by developing the nerve platform that is self -perceived by its nature in terms of energy consumption, safe operation and system reliability. As part of this initiative, 15 doctoral candidates (DCS) will be trained through a comprehensive multidisciplinary program that extends on material science, physics in devices, computer architecture, devices models, translator design, simulation and simulation tools, as well as cybersecurity, reliability, and system institution. React provides a uniquely organized training environment, combining academic excellence and industrial cooperation. DCS will benefit from close counseling by researchers and industry experts, while developing basic skills in scientific writing, research ethics, time management, and entrepreneurship. With the conclusion of the React project, the participants will be well equipped to follow up influential jobs throughout the academic and industry, as the React program works as a strong basis for their success in the future.
