Fellow Research in Biomatic Informatics at the University of Southampton
An exciting opportunity to join the clinical trial unit in Southampton (SCTU), within the University of Southampton, as an early vital scientist.
SCTU is a UKCRC recorder and is funded by Cancer Research UK (Cruk) along with funding from the National Institute of Health and Care (NIHR). SCTU is the leading academic CTU and has experience in the design, behavior and spread of clinical trials and other studies designed well, and it runs a growing portfolio (75 % of cancer, and 25 % non -cancer) covering the full spectrum of clinical practice.
As part of our Cruk and NIHR infrastructure, we have close business relationships with our partners, including the Southampton Experimental Cancer Research Center, Nihr BrC & RSS, Southampton University Hospital, and the Cancer Discovery Community Center, Cruk Centers and institutes around the United Kingdom.
Role
We are looking for a vital, very defending and enthusiastic world early to apply and develop their mathematical skills in a clinical research environment. This is a unique opportunity for a doctoral graduate or premature post -PhD researcher to play a major role in developing and implementing the functioning of vital information that supports our advanced clinical experiences, with a focus on omics analysis.
You will be responsible for providing vital information support and expertise for clinical experiences, including contributing to project designs and providing financing offers. You will closely cooperate with our clinical and statistical teams and data management to ensure a smooth and effective workflow. Your business will include the development and implementation of biomaria pipelines from raw data, the application of a set of statistical and automatic learning techniques and advanced artificial intelligence to analyze clinical data and clinical data, and contribute to the development of vital indicators and predictive models. An important part of your role will be to ensure that all the data and the workflow are repetitive and shared, and are compatible with the “Data Lake to our discovery” approach according to fair principles.

About you

Conditions for appointment
