EDA is looking for the head of the Technology and Innovation Unit.

Under the supervision of the Director of Research, Technology and Innovation, the employer will be responsible for/contributing to the following activities:

• The leadership and management of integrated collective action in the field of unit’s specific responsibility, including among other things, planning and organizing resources, with interest in improving related skills and knowledge, placing priorities and behaving as a line manager;
• Ensuring the introduction method for work and coordination with units and other directorates within the agency;
• Maintaining a strategy overview in the field of employer’s responsibility and managing appropriate technological predictions in coordination with Eda Captechs;
• Setting the comprehensive strategic research schedule (OSRA) and coordinating the inputs of this process from other relevant EDA works;
• Interacting with member states, relevant European Union agencies/agencies (European Commission/DG Defis, ESA, EUMS), ministries of defense of European Union member states, European research organizations, academic circles and defense industry. Small and medium companies as well as with NATO and Nayno Sto law;
• Preparing strategies and policies to increase cooperation and strengthen the defense R&T and Edtib on cross -cut technologies and the foundation program;
• Contribute to EDA activities related to the European Defense Fund;
• Workshops, business groups, project management groups or program management committees if possible;
• Drafting or coordinating the status of documents and internal and external presentations;
• Manage and monitor the unit mission budget;
• Take additional tasks as required in the service interest.

Duties may develop according to the development of EDA structure and activities, and EDA management decisions.
