Participant lecturer (teaching) in the history of modern science in UCL

The main duties of this position will include:

  • Teaching university units and masters in the field of the subject.
  • Put a full mark of these units in time.
  • Do the administrative duties associated with the stereotypes and STS grades.
  • Contributing to the academic life of the administration.

The specified stereotype dedicated to this publication will include:

  • HPSC00139 Science Date 2
  • Teaching and/or assistance in teaching on other units as directed.

HPSC0139 is taught to university students in the second year. Details about the stereotype connected to the Internet in the stereotype approach: www.ucl.ac.uk/Sts/hpsc.

Additional duties will be set, including optical assistance in assessment on other units, one -time sessions with university and basic students, and enabling duties, such as assistance in employment, assistance in job lessons, and student support.

Please note that this position does not fulfill the visa care requirements.

About you

Applicants must show experience in the history of modern science, as well as in science and technology studies. They will have experience in providing teaching on both university and graduate studies.

Applicants must obtain a doctorate in an appropriate academic field. If not get a degree, applicants must show a great professional development in the field of the topic to be taught. Applicants should also show the commitment to work in harmony with colleagues and students of all cultures and backgrounds.

The appointed should be available for teaching during the period and scheduled times. The commitment of the approximate contact time for each unit is 7.3 hours per week. Please note that this post is not renewable and is not subject to extension.
