We are looking for a colleague to join our cooperative vocational training team at the College of Business Administration.

By submitting reports to the Director of Communication, it will join a small team that supports our partners in the United Kingdom and the internationals who provide Oxford Brooks University degree, which has been validated and provides vocational training at the College of Business Administration. Our work includes developing new partnerships, ensuring quality guarantee and trainees compliance with financing systems. This includes communication with colleagues of academic and professional services, trainees and employers of their work to support quality guarantee for these programs.

What will I do?

This role will provide a good introduction to a set of programs and external partners to ensure the quality of our provision.

  • Using a set of information technology programs to improve the effective operation of the partnership team.
  • Support communication with partners and colleagues to ensure informing stakeholders and participation.
  • Providing administrative support for national and international cooperative programs, including industrial discipline certificates. Tasks will include support for meetings under supervision, such as exam committees and university sub -committees. Supporting the supporting partner for the OBU quality guarantee policies and procedures, making sure that the documents are accurate and updated when necessary.

What skills do I need?

  • Good understanding of Office programs, including efficiency in Word and Excel, file management, email and calendars.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills, creating and maintaining a good relationship with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Attention to details, and ensuring that the information is accurate and complete.
  • Adaptable and flexible: adapting to new priorities and multiple tasks without losing accuracy and concentration.

This role will be hybrid. During your induction, you will work on campus up to 3 days a week. After the pathological test, this may be reduced to two days in consultation with your font manager. You can choose to work throughout the five days on campus every week.

As an Oxford Brooks employee, you will enjoy a holiday of not less than 25 days, and rise with your service, as well as 8 days of banking holidays and additional university concessions (about 5 per year).
