Position

We are looking for Senior Engineer Mission Radar Artificial opening (SAR) In our office in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada’s office is part of the next generation of land observation space missions.

From the discovery of changes in fragile ecosystems to monitoring the northern ice horizon and charging methods, it makes land monitoring data approaching our real time, Geointeigence, pioneering in spatial geographical images, ground stations, spatial geographical systems and defense programs. We will join the remote sensing team with a 30-year-old experience in the provision of commercial and government projects such as Radarsat-2, Rapideye, Sapphire, Cassipe, Radarsat Constellation and now the choir of SART.

This is a suitable role for an ambitious professional who wants to solve complex problems and develop new algorithms that contribute to improving our world. You will contribute to the leadership of the artificial aperture radar processes by developing new signaling algorithms that generate high -value images and the actual time of our customers.

Responsibilities

as Senior Engineer Mission Radar Artificial opening (SAR)You may have a wide range of responsibilities that include:

• The final supervision of SAR’s relevant engineering activities provides the full life cycle of SAR space mission;
• It supervises the concept of the task of developing operations and defines high -level task specifications, including setting the budgets of spacecraft to support SAR.
• Participates in managing important technical risks, integration, verification and verification of health at the level of the task;
• Responsible for the preference studies of design between different dimensions of the mission including: spacecraft systems, coverage and access, SAR, SAR processor and final user applications;
• The main member of the team’s leadership to successful assignment, calibration and early operations for SAR space tasks;
• The technical solution leads to current SAR improvements;
• Providing sound technical guidance for senior management and new business; and
• Development of team members through guidance and training.

The required experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, engineering physics, mathematics, physics, or a combination of relevant education and experience;
• 10 years or more work with SAR or SAR data with increased complexity levels;
• 5 years or more of work in a space engineering environment or a similar complex systems engineering environment;
• Experience in SAR Remote Sensing, including system design, operation, applications/exploitation and/or calibration;
• A strong understanding of SAR performance, processing and apps applications;
• Experience in different types of engineering life cycles as it applies from large complex programs to software development;
• Self -start with the ability to perform in a dynamic work environment;
• It has excellent skills in solving problems;
• Personal, verbal, verbal, and shoulder skills to explain the concepts of large -scale fans (such as the technical team, sales team, executives, clients, etc.); and
• The ability to work within a large organization, understanding dependencies and the needs of stakeholders.

Desired experience:

• The ability and knowledge to work with Matlab, Python, or C ++;
• Appreciation to design and loads of satellite satellites;
• Estimating the design mission design (for example coverage and access, tropical dynamics, etc.);
• Estimate spacecraft design (such as thermal, energy, signal accuracy, etc.);
• The ability to learn new technologies and know the field quickly; and
• A strong understanding of spatial geographical data.

The scope of compensation for this position is $ 113,000 – 145,000 dollars annually. The specific compensation provided depends on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
