The Galicia Supercering Center (CESGA), Spain, is seeking expressions of interest in high motivated HPC technicians to support the high -performance computing infrastructure designated for marine science research. This role includes maintaining and improving mathematical resources used for ocean modeling, simulating the marine ecosystems, processing remote sensing data, and intensive marine applications of data.

The main tasks of the role may include:

• Keep and support HPC groups, storage systems and data pipelines used in marine science research.

• Help researchers to spread and improve models or oceans (EG, ROMS, Hycom, NEMO) and marine data analysis biographies. Monitor system performance, explore errors and repair devices/programs, and ensure high computing resources.

• Provide user support for well -used scientific programs and tools (for example, Matlab, Python, R, Ferret, NetCDF tools). Managing extensive marine data collections from satellite sources, at the site, and forms sources, ensuring effective storage and access.

• Documentation system formations, workflow and best practices for marine science users.

• Cooperation with multidisciplinary teams to support research in ocean science, marine biology, and climate science.
