Description
The Review and Publishing Center (CRD) at York University, Coordinator of the Research Project, is displayed to support project provision through large research programs in the department.
CRD is an academic research to divide This specializes in the Evidence and Health Technology Assessment Hall. Our systematic reviews and other projects to synthesize evidence extend a wide range of public health and health. It provides the best evidence to inform politics and practice decisions and is supported through a system for systematic development and commitment to exchange of knowledge.

role
This is a new position. We are looking for a person with an experience installed in providing first -class coordination through multiple projects at one time, and a balance between competing final dates and demands. You will have strong skills between people and organizational and be adept in dealing with numerical data, complex data tables and other programs, as well as the excellent and oral communication skills. Since the project coordinator will deal with sensitive data, the discretionary authority and the ability to maintain confidentiality are necessary.
Includes tasks:
- Supporting the head of departments managers and program managers to plan and monitor research projects resources and help ensure the milestones and delivery of projects on time and within their resource budget – which requires a clear mastery in the use of data and programs schedules.
- Support managers in coordinating the designated aspects of research projects (often operated simultaneously) throughout their life cycle from starting to a successful conclusion – which require organizational skills and management of strong projects.
- Communication and participation with various stakeholders including employees within CRD, other university departments, external and financiers – who require excellent communication skills.
- Collecting data and drafting text for sections of reports and meeting notes – requires efficiency in working with numerical data and excellent writing skills.
- Organizing meetings, maintaining the documentation of the research and guidance program and recording examples of influence – require strong organizational skills and attention to details.
- Help in preparing project communications, including formulating materials for web sites, blogs and social media.
- Implementing additional administrative tasks to support the administration as required by the Director of Research Support for Department Research.
Since this is a new role that provides administrative support for research throughout the department, there is an opportunity to work with the director of HOD research support and departments to increase the formation of the role and improve administrative processes.
This is a full -time position, but we will also look at the applicants who want to work part -time, provided that this is at least 60 % of the full equals (for example 3 days a week).
The necessary skills, experience and qualifications
- Level 3 qualification. (Qualifications at this level include A.A. View full menu.) We also welcome applicants with non -equivalent qualifications or equivalent professional experience
- The experience of planning and providing resources for multiple projects simultaneously (preferably in the context of research)
- The experience of work and communication with a group of stakeholders
- Experiment to preparing, analyzing and providing numerical information
- Experience of writing content for reports and other communications
- Excellent project coordination and management skills
- Efficiency in dealing with numerical data
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills with excellent attention to details
- The ability to work flexibly to fulfill the final dates and work under pressure
- The ability to use the initiative to solve problems, and work as part of a team as well as independently
- The ability and the desire to be flexible in approach and teamwork
- The experience of organizing meetings and making the necessary arrangements for visitors
