The role and management      

The advanced research computing Directorate (ARC) provides the extensive arithmetic capacity to support and assist in determining the nature of the research and innovation that can be done with the institution.

The ARC mission is to provide a coherent strategy for arithmetic support for research: enabling research and innovation at the forefront of mathematical practice; Enabling academic leadership by adopting and developing leading technology; Promote associated experience; And promoting multidisciplinary cooperation. The leading platforms including high -performance computing, methods of analyzing arithmetic and advanced data, and the growth of vital capacity and retaining them in research engineering, research and technical development at the heart of this endeavor.

We organize our activities under three main columns:

1. Research computing platforms
2. Software Engineering Research
3. Develop the mathematical skills for the researcher

It is delivered by management, research computing platforms (RCP) and research engineering (RSE).

Through cooperation between the Institute of Data Science, the Department of Computer Science and ARC, many grants were secured under the umbrella of the UK Digital Research Technology Program (DRTP). These projects aim to create a crossing scene for photography and symbol – mostly for simulation and AI that work on HPC machines – for the DRI community in the entire UK. Their task includes creating materials in favor of RTP Upskilting, operating the incidents of this, creating a national performance evaluation service, conducting performance assessments and standard status studies, and helping symbols to move to the era of acceleration.
